Warsztat (WAR) Semestr letni 2018/2019

The purpose of this course is to give the elements of modern methodology and statistical methods of data analysis in a relatively nonmathematical form, and to show and teach the students how to compute advanced statistics using packages SPSS (PS IMAGO), R Environment, G*Power and other. As a result of this course the students should get sufficient knowledge and skills to be able to perform analyses more sophisticated than those covered in the standard course.

Knowledge:

- GLM (ANOVA, multiple regression)

- logistic regression

- mediation and moderation

- confirmatory factor analysis

- path analysis and structural equation modeling

- power analysis

- basics of Bayesian approach

Skills:

- All of the above - ability to perform relevant analysis

- ability to seek additional information as regards data analysis.
