By the end of the course all the Participants will have become familiar with a wide range of topics associated with youth and young adult culture in the United States, and broadened their knowledge on American history, society and politics through the perspective of youth studies. The Participants will enhance their abilities to critically examine a variety of aspects within youth culture through the lens of “race”, gender, ethnicity, sexuality, nationhood, and political interests. While formulating and reflecting on questions and discussion topics, they will also hone and practice their analytical and group discussion skills.
