Cele kształcenia: | (tylko po angielsku) The course serves as an introduction to cybersecurity. By applying an interdisciplinary lens it combines technical, legal, and policy perspectives on cyberspace security. By the end of the course, students should be able to understand principles of computer network functionality and the role of IT technologies in international security; define key terms and concepts in the field of cybersecurity; identify and distinguish threat actors and their motivations; predict cyberthreat dynamics and their influence on national and international security systems; recognize practical and theoretical aspects of data protection in cyberspace. |

Efekty kształcenia: | (tylko po angielsku) Student knows and understands: - the basic terminology, technological and social outline of cybersecurity, - key cybersecurity actors, institutions and factors influencing cybersecurity policy. Student can: - recognize the role of information and communication technologies for providing international security, - analyze the dynamics of development of cyberthreats and its impact on national and international security systems. Student is ready to: -idependently improve knowledge of international cybersecurity, -actively participate in the international debate on current cybersecurity issues |

Forma i warunki zaliczenia: | (tylko po angielsku) Each student will be expected to have completed reading prior to class and to be prepared to participate in the discussion. Grades will be based on activates during the class (20 %), presentation on a given topic (30 %) and take-home open book exam (50 %). |
