| Cele kształcenia: | (tylko po angielsku) The main goal of this course is demonstration of the modern knowledge of the psychiatric diseases and therapeutic approach on the level of whole organism as well as cellular and subcellular pathways. |

| Efekty kształcenia: | (tylko po angielsku) Student gains knowledge about current scientific achievements in the area of psychiatry and psychopharmacology (neuropsychopharmacology). Student understands neurobiological mechanisms of depression, anxiety and schizophrenia as well as issues related to diagnostics. Student knows the new hypothesis of the therapeutic mechanisms. Moreover, student is able to search and find proper literature sources . Student is aware of the threat caused by psychiatric diseases for patients, their families and the society. |

(tylko po angielsku) Lectures and seminars demonstrate/describe clinical symptoms (used in diagnosis) and neurobiology of psychiatric disorders (affective disorders, depression, anxietys and schizophrenia). Moreover, psychopthology of stress, depression, anxiety, suicide is olso presented. The conventional and experimental therapy, their mechanisms and current hypothesis are also the subject of dispute. Experimental psychopharmacology includes methodology of preclinical studies and future direction of research. - | |
