Pełny opis: |
(tylko po angielsku) The comparative study of religion brings to light behaviours and beliefs that are different in different societies and yet share certain features. This course starts from the assumption that the shared features require an explanation in terms of the way the mind function. It will propose a model of mental functioning that accounts for a number of behaviours and beliefs that are commonly associated with religion, among these asceticism, sacrifice and belief in a transcendent reality. |
