| Forma i warunki zaliczenia: | Students have to prepare 3 presentations and final report (during one semester of the course). |

| Metody sprawdzania i kryteria oceny efektów kształcenia uzyskanych przez studentów: | Marks for 3 presentations of 3 stages of research project (research plan, methods, results) and for final report. |

| Bilans punktów ECTS: | 15 hours with lecturer, 345 hour of student’s own work: literature reading, preparing presentation and reports, fieldwork, analysis of results, preparing final report. |

| Wymiar, zasady i forma odbywania praktyk: | Please note that the course lasts only ONE semester as it is designed for incoming Erasmus students. You need to complete your research project during 15 weeks. You cannot take this course twice if you stay for another semester at the university. |

| Pełny opis: |
The aim of the course designed for foreign exchange students is to carry out an individual research project in physical or human geography. The students will learn how to prepare research project, critically assess literature, design successive stages of the research, choose methods and manage time and resources. They will collect data during field work or in laboratory, and learn how to analyze them. Students will be obliged to present successive stages of the research project, and its results in the form of the final report. (KW_011, KKS_01, KKS_08) Please note that the course lasts only ONE semester as it is designed for incoming Erasmus students. You need to complete your (small-scale) research project during 15 weeks. You cannot take this course twice if you stay for another semester at the university. |
