Efekty kształcenia: | 1. Knowledge: students know selected technical terms in English concerning physical and human geography(Geogr_I: K_W05, K_W07, K_W10; Geogr_II: KW_03, K_W06) 2. Skills: students know how to use the selected technical terms in English concerning physical and human geography, they know how to use the electronic data bases with geographical journals in English, they know how to individually study and then present scientific geographical information in English (Geogr_I: K_U12; Geogr_II: KU_02, K_U10) 3. Personal and social competences: students are aware that good knowledge of technical terms is an important element of their professional education, necessary in the future work (Geogr_I: K_K06; Geogr_II: K_K06) |

Pełny opis: |
A part of the seminar is scheduled for the lectures of foreign researchers coming to the Institute of Geography and Spatial Management, Jagiellonian University. They present the most recent issues from physical and human geography, studied currently. There is a discussion after each lecture. Other part of the seminar is organised as a combination of introductory lectures about current environmental problems (e.g. eutrophication, natural hazards), followed by the discussion based on individual input of every course's participant, who read in advance selected scientific papers about a given issue. |
