Cele kształcenia: | 1. Knowledge: - knows and understands the importance of transport in the environment, economy and social life of urbanized area (KW_02, KW_03, KW_13) - knows the problems of different types of transport infrastructure functioning (KW_02) 2. Skills: - is able to use basic research methods for transport analysis (KU_03) - is able to collect and analyze data leading to explanation of different kinds of transport infrastructure functioning in socio-economic space (KU_02, KU_03, KU_09) 3.Personal and social competences: - shows criticism towards collected data (KKS_03) - knows how to work in a group (KKS_05) - has the awareness of transport policy importance in the context of sustainable development (KKS_08, KKS_09) |

Forma i warunki zaliczenia: | Exam: written test Conditions of admission to the exam: completion and positive marks for all tasks, verified attendance at lectures, seminars and field seminar Lecture: obligatory attendance Seminar/laboratory: obligatory attendance, presentation of a chosen topic, individual tasks, group project Field seminar: obligatory attendance, active participation in a discussion Final note is the result of 4 areas of evaluation: - tasks completion – 0-25 points - essay – 0-25 points - exam – 0-25 points - positive mark is mandatory to complete the course - group project – 0-25 points Grading scale (1 – 100 points): 0-50/100– 2.0 51-60/100 – 3.0 61-70/100 – 3.5 |

Metody sprawdzania i kryteria oceny efektów kształcenia uzyskanych przez studentów: | Written test – examine given knowledge, skills and personal and social competences. Positive mark requires: 60% of the whole given knowledge and skills 100% - of the whole assumed personal and social competences |

Transport research and practice. Review of transport research methods. Transport infrastructure in the environment and socio-economic space. Transport infrastructure location patterns. Legal limitations towards transport infrastructure location. Planning transport infrastructure in different spatial planning systems. Spatial organization of transport on different spatial scales (global, regional, local). Transport impact on land use changes and urban development. Transport as metropolitan function. Critical infrastructure. |
