Clerkship at dental surgery 1/2

The clerkship schedule should include as follows:

1. Acquiring further information on the organization of the ward and organizational links of the ward with outpatient health care system;

2. Acquiring dental examination skills and planning cariologic evaluation and prosthetic treatment;

3. Performing and assisting in field of conservative dentistry, periodontics, prosthetic and surgical dentistry treatment;

4. Performing oral hygiene instruction;

5. Performing cavity prophylaxis treatment–fluorine compounds covering;

6. Performing dentine hypersensitivity removing treatment;

7. Acquiring knowledge on local anesthesia;

8. Performing suture removal;

9. Performing tartar removal;

10. Broadening knowledge on instruments and dental equipment;

11. Acquiring further information on instruments sterilizing procedures, as well as documenting it in dental office.
