In terms of knowledge:

-Discusses the current guidelines for advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation infants, children and adults

- Discusses the principles of assessment, recognition and treatment of life-threatening conditions at dental office

- Describe ABCDE assessment system and SAMPLE medical history taking


in terms of skills is able to:

- perform advanced life support procedures, use Automated External and manual defibrillator, use proper medicaments depending on patient condition.

- is able to perform good ventilation using self-inflating bad and mask

- is able to help patients in life-threatening conditions at dental office

- is able to perform ABCDE assessment and SAMPLE medical history takeing


in terms of social competence

- Has the ability and the habit of self-training

- Responsibly preparing to take care activities

- Work in the group taking responsibility for the timely and accurate execution of the tasks assigned

- Comply with the ethical standards of professional activities

Metody sprawdzania i kryteria oceny efektów kształcenia uzyskanych przez studentów:

Assessment of module is subject to the following conditions:

- The presence at the exercises - is possible one justified absence.

- Preparation and active participation in classes

- A positive completion of test exam

- To achieve a positive completion of an objective structured clinical examination

 

To pass the test exam student is required to obtain at least 62%.

To pass an objective structured clinical examination is required to obtain at least 62% and a positive credit points (at least 62% of the points) three of the four stations in the mandatory examination station of assessing the quality of advance life support treatment.
