  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;
  • the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h;
  • 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes;
  • weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS;

Learning outcomes of a component:

E1: a thorough knowledge of the field of optimization and control (K_W01 + K_W03 +)


E2: student is able to prepare and present mathematical reasoning in the form of oral (K_U02 + K_U15 ++, K_K03 +)


E3: student can independently acquire and complement the knowledge necessary to understand an article (K_U10 ++)

Requirements:

Mathematical Analysis 2, Algebra, Differential Equations.

Conditions of gaining credit:

Credit on the basis of a delivered lecture and class attendance.


Preparation of a talk and answers to questions asked during the talk.

Talk at the seminar.

Seminar is devoted to current trends in the field of optimization theory and optimal control theory.

Full description:

The aim of the seminar is to familiarize students with the current trends of research in the field of optimization theory and optimal control theory. The papers presented at the seminar include the latest scientific results concerning the optimal control, optimization and related issues. They are prepared based on the top articles from journals worldwide, as well as the latest results obtained by the participants of the seminar.
