Efekty kształcenia: | (tylko po angielsku) EK1: the student possesses extended and organized knowledge about the terminology used in social sciences and the humanities (K2_W03++) EK2: the student possesses organized and broad knowledge about traditional and contemporary trends and systems in the fields of anthropology, sociology, philosophy and social psychology and understands its historic and cultural prerequisites (K2_W16++) EK3: the student is able to research, select and make use of information using an appropriate selection of sources, and knows how to apply a suitable gradation with regards to the used sources (K2_U01+++) EK4: the students possesses the ability to give content-related arguments using the views of different authors and respecting divergent opinions of other participants of the discussion (K2_U6+++) EK5: the student is able to prepare an oral presentation in English language, which is either the result of group work or of individual work (K2_U10+++) EK6: the student is aware of the level of his knowledge and abilities, understands the need for constant education with regards to his professional career and personal development and is able to decide on the direction of his personal development (K2_K01+) EK7: the student is able to determine the aims of his activities and to decide on priorities and the order of realization of his tasks (K2_K03++) |

Forma i warunki zaliczenia: | (tylko po angielsku) Evaluation of multimedia presentations 50% of grade Discussions 50% of grade Students are expected to discuss the reading and develop their own position on the issues discussed. Each student will be required to introduce or co-introduce one class, present one reading assigned for that day and raise question for discussion. The presentation should be approx. 25 minutes long and be supplemented by a one-page fact sheet. |

Metody sprawdzania i kryteria oceny efektów kształcenia uzyskanych przez studentów: | (tylko po angielsku) Evaluation criteria: Knowledge: EK1 (K2_W03), EK2 (K2_W16) – essay/group product, assessment of group discussions at the beginning of every lectures, which summarize the main points of the previous lectures Skills: EK3 (K2_U01), EK4 (K2_U06) – evaluation of the thoroughness and integrity on the basis of the knowledge of the lecturer and critical remarks from the group. Assessment of the group discussions at the beginning of each lecture, which summarize the main points of the previous lecture. Assessment of participation and argumentation skills during in-class discussions. EK5 (K2_U10) – presentation/lecture/speech. Assessment of the choice and knowledge of the literature used for the individual in-class presentations Social skills: EK6 (K2_K01). EK7 (K2_K03): analysis of the students’ progress with regards to activity during lectures, presentation of literature, participation in the project, assessment of participation in in-class discussions |
