Cele kształcenia: | The purpose of education is to familiarize students with the basic aspects of intercultural communication. |

Efekty kształcenia: | LO 1. Student has a basic knowledge about main elements of cross-cultural communication theory. LO 2. Student has a basic knowledge about institutions and technologies used in cross-cultural communication. LO 3. Student is able to analyze the phenomena of intercultural communication. LO 4.Sudent is aware of the barriers and difficulties in communication between members of different cultures and is able to overcome them. |

Forma i warunki zaliczenia: | 1. Attendance (min. 8/10 classes, first classes [introduction] not included) - 10% (max 10 pts to credit) 2. Group projects - 30% (max. 30 pts to credit) Grading scale: 100-90% - 5.0 (very good) 89-80% - 4.5 (more than good) 79-70% - 4.0 (good) 69-60% - 3.5 (more than satisfactory) 59-50% - 3.0 (satisfactory) 49% and less - 2.0 (unsatisfactory = no credit) |

Cross-cultural communication skills (communicative competence) To read: Hurn, Tomalin, chapter V, part 1, pp. 78-89. 5.
