Pełny opis: |
(tylko po angielsku) PLAN OF THE LECTURES WITH A SHORT OVERVIEW: What you should expect to be discussed during our meetings? How the lectures are structured? This course is composed of three complementary and interconnected parts. After a short theoretical introduction (LECTURE 1-2), we will discuss basic psychological mechanisms responsible for some negative social processes, including group hostility and aggression, breaking with moral norms, motivational processes staying behind resistance to (or support for) social change, violence in politics - with special focus on terrorism (LECTURES 3-7). Next, we will look at ‘security issues’ from a more individual perspective, focusing on the performance of key decision-makers, like political leaders and analysts (who play important role in the contemporary decision-making process), with special attention turned to cognitive biases and risk perception (LECTURES 8-10). |
