(tylko po angielsku) Course content 1. The international order in the context of globalization. Global power shifts/Global social change. Diagnosis of the world. Actors, problems, clash of interests. 2. Visions of the economic order. Global imbalances. International Political Economy perspectives. Economic Diplomacy. Facts and discourses. 3. Emerging powers: Status quo or revisionists? Strategic rivalry and (multiple) world order. 4. The wealth of nations and the hidden wealth of nations 5. Selected issues of world economic order: Culture and religion in the context of development. Multinational corporations and their role in development. 6. Economic diplomacy in development policies. Media, Global Civil society. 7. Emerging powers and development cooperation. |
