  • roczny wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się dla danego etapu studiów wynosi 1500-1800 h, co odpowiada 60 ECTS;
  • tygodniowy wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta wynosi 45 h;
  • 1 punkt ECTS odpowiada 25-30 godzinom pracy studenta potrzebnej do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się;
  • tygodniowy nakład pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się pozwala uzyskać 1,5 ECTS;
  • nakład pracy potrzebny do zaliczenia przedmiotu, któremu przypisano 3 ECTS, stanowi 10% semestralnego obciążenia studenta.

Cele kształcenia:

(tylko po angielsku) C1: To increase the level of a general knowledge of post-crisis situations.

C2: To provide students with a thorough understanding of NGOs structure and modalities of work, especially in

conflict situations.

C3: To familiarize students with the importance of coordination of international organizations' activities in crisis

management and the interface between operations run by different stakeholders, including the third sector.

C4: To indicate particular crisis situations in the context of NGO's Aid Development.

Efekty kształcenia:

(tylko po angielsku) Student:

- Has a general knowledge about theoretical aspects of crisis situation.

- Is able to point examples of particular crisis situations and analyze it in the context of NGO's Aid Development.

- Has an integrated and advanced knowledge of the international legal and institutional frameworks regulating NGOS in the context of international development.

- Has a thorough understanding of NGOs structure and modalities of work, especially in conflict situations.

- Has a practical ability to diagnose the role of a volunteer as an entity influencing development and post-crisis situations.

- Has a practical ability to coordination of international organizations' activities in crisis management and the interface between operations run by different stakeholders, including the third sector.


Forma i warunki zaliczenia:

following elements:

1. Students' activity during classes: 25 points

2. Tasks and projects prepared for the course: 25 points

3. Final exam: 50 points

Metody sprawdzania i kryteria oceny efektów kształcenia uzyskanych przez studentów:

(tylko po angielsku) Class participation and attendance are a basic requirement that all students enrolled in this course are expected to meet. We have 10 Mondays of classes scheduled. You can miss two sessions at the most (two Mondays), to complete the course.


All students are required to prepare and deliver a short presentation (during class!) about a selected topical issue concerning:

1. NGO Aid Development in a country of their choice – a case study of a running programme and/or your proposal for amedments of a running program or a completely new idea.

2. NGO public information and campaigning – a case study of an inspiring campaign related to course topics and/or ideas for your own campaign.

3. NGO partnerships in development aid programmes – presenting a case study

4. Other topics - as agreed with the lecturer.
