GRADING SYSTEM:

(2) Student can’t explain the impact of classical or modern concepts of management on organizational behavior standards,

(3) Student can explain the impact on organizational behavior standards and show the background of use of classical or modern concepts of management,

(3) Student can explain the impact on organizational behavior standards classical and modern concepts of management and show differences between two selected concepts,

(5) Student can explain impact on organizational behavior standards and show the background of use in all concepts of management and differences between them.

Pełny opis:

Lecture 1 (4h) – Introduction to Management. Definition, meaning and features of Management. Basic terms and definitions connected with concepts of management. Characteristics of management concepts. Presentation of the division of management concepts.

Lecture 2 (4h) - Introduction to classical management concepts, starting from scientific management through administrative approach to social approach in management.

Lecture 3 (4h) - Presentation of situational approach and system approach in management.

Lecture 4 (6h) - Presentation of modern concepts of management, including:

Reengineering - BPR (Business Process Reengineering)

Lean Management

Benchmarking

Outsourcing, with practical examples.

Lecture 5 (2h) Presentation of modern concepts of management with practical examples such as TBM (Time Based Management) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) for Customer-Oriented Business.

Lecture 6 (2h) Presentation of modern concepts of management based on quality: TQM (Total Quality Management) and Continuous Improvement (CI).

Lecture 7 (4h) Presentation of modern concepts of management based on knowledge: knowledge and competences management, intelligent and learning organization. General systems thinking approach in management.

Lecture 8 (2h) Introduction of virtual and network organizations concepts of management.

Lecture 9 (2h) Presentation of concept of social responsibility in organization (CSR).
