(tylko po angielsku) The course will examine internationally recognized productions by Tadeusz Kantor (painter and founder of the Cricot 2 Theatre 1955-1992). Excerpts of videos of major works such as "The Dead Class", "Wielopole, Wielopole", "Let the Artists Die", "I Shall Never Return", "Today is My Birthday" will be analyzed and discussed. Main topics include: Tadeusz Kantor and His Memory Machine; Models of Dead Memories; Staging Memory in Historical Context; Polish Theatre of Death. | |
