A student knows and understands the principles of establishing a new venture and adequate regulations pertaining to it, as well as methods for developing an enterprise, including the relationships with the environment. EW2, EW9

A student knows and understands the methods of planning and making choices in the process of establishing an new venture under the conditions of risk and uncertainty. EW9

A student observes economic phenomena and based on it, identifies and evaluates entrepreneurial opportunities. EU 2

Final exam - a max. of 70 points

1. The essence and types of entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship and economic development (the Eurostat and Global Entrepreneurship Monitor data).

2. Innovation – types, processes and models.

3. Technology entrepreneurship – types, development methods.

4. Criteria of identification and attributes of small and medium-sized enterprises in the EU.

5. Entrepreneurial growth – the nature and economic importance.

Characteristics and strategies of high-growth firms.

6. Market and public sources of financing new ventures.

7. Opportunity identification and feasibility analysis for new ventures.

8. Developing an effective business model.

9. Institutions of business environment.

10. Entrepreneurial networks and clusters. International entrepreneurship.

Metody dydaktyczne:

The course utilizes a variety of different approaches, like:

case studies,

plenary discussion,

consultations,

e-learning.
