Zakres tematów: |
(tylko po angielsku) The aim of the course is to analyze historical and contemporary theoretical and practical aspects of U.S. domestic politics, with a special focus on governmental issues. The students shall learn and understand political processes in the U.S. which led to the creation of the first written constitution, to the creation of the model presidential system of government with separation of powers and checks and balances, and the specifics of the federal system of government. Apart from doctrinal foundations and legal basis, the students shall analyze how political system in the U.S. has evolved in 19th and 20th century, especially with a focus on the changing status of U.S. democracy. |
